Ostrich Egg Teapot

Unique is an understatement.  Beauty, elegant, graceful are only some of the words to describe this piece of art.  The body of this teapot is made from the shells of an Ostrich with Pheasant, Guinea Fowl eggs. It is handmade, one at a time, by artist Larisa Safaryan.

Larisa creates masterpieces with egg shells ranging from the size of a tiny parrot egg, to emu, goose and ostrich eggs.

This Teapot is part of her Ovo Collection. It is certainly a conversation piece.
